Our refund and returns policy is in effect for 30 days following the rental of an item. If 30 days have passed since your rental was initiated, we can’t offer you a full refund.
All items rented are required to be returned to the vendor from whom the item was rented. To qualify as a return, your item must be in substantially similar condition to that in which you received it. It must also be in the packaging provided, if applicable. If the item is not in substantially similar condition, you may be charged fees up to the replacement value of the product that was rented.
All disputes between vendor and renter on the amount to be paid can be mediated by the ReMe dispute resolution team. Decisions made on compensation awarded are binding, and must be paid if ordered. Account termination is possible if payment is not made for damaged products.
Prohibited items
Several types of goods are prohibited from being rented on our platform. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be rented. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Firearms, age-restricted items under federal or state law, or any products illegal under the laws of the vendor’s location are also prohibited from being rented on ReMe.
Non-rentable items (this is not an exhaustive list):
- Firearms or weapons of any kind
- Drugs or drug paraphernalia
- Hazardous materials
- Any organic matter or living things
- Adult toys or materials
- Anything deemed inappropriate by our moderation team
There are certain categories where rental is restricted to a certain age range.
- Power equipment (Age 18+)
- Vehicles (Age 21+)
- Properties (Age 21+)
All product moderation is at the soul discretion of ReMe, and listings may be revoked at any time for any reason.
Refunds
Refunds will be offered only if the product rented is substantially different than that shown on the listing.
If you need a refund, first contact the vendor. If the vendor is being difficult, reach out to us at hello@remerentals.com and we will intervene.
